Today's matches started with 'The Terminator' Niels Feijen and 'Daz' Darren Appleton against 'Big Bubba' Shawn Dechaine and 'Fireball' Mike Dechaine. Lady Luck favoured the Europeans, as Niels fluked the 2ball on an attempted safety. But it was check mate when Feijen played a perfect safety in the sixth rack and later, played a sublime long kick shot to resolve a safety battle by sinking the 2ball and runout. The European pairing won 6-3, Europe 7-4 USA.
